
Pioneer
Village is a collection of 12 buildings that were moved or built
on site to resemble structures in the early part of the 20th century.
The Village includes: Old Aztec Jail, Tinsmith and Print Shop, Denver
and Rio Grande Railroad Caboose, Blacksmith and Carpentry Shop, Log
Cabin, Citizens Bank, Farmhouse, The Village Church, School House,
Magistrate’s
Office, Post Office with a General
Store, and Doctor’s Office.
Each structure contains wonderful historical items and displays
related to the use of the building. Visitors are encouraged to
photograph or video the buildings and content. This is a great
museum your children will enjoy. The Pioneer Village is available
to rent for weddings or other occasions.
